その佇まいや置かれる場所から、少し威厳的な雰囲気さえも時として感じてしまいます。
IFA Firepitは、周りの家具や道具と調和を取りながら、
サイトや周囲の自然に違和感なく馴染む、テーブルのような見た目の焚き火台です。
「テーブルに擬態した、周囲と溶け合う焚火台」というキーワードの元にデザインを進めた結果、
独創的な外観、独自の機能性、高い収納性を両立した新しい火の道具が生まれました。

The design process was based on the key concept of “a fire pit that mimics a table and blends in with its surroundings,
The result is a new fire tool that combines an original appearance, unique functionality, and high storage capacity.

テーブルの一部を凹ませ、火床を設けたような外観が大きな特徴です。
両脇の平たい天板がどことなくテーブルの気配を感じさせ、
焚き火道具のちょっとした置き場であったり、

調理器具の保温場所としてもお使い頂けます。
※ 天板は時間を追うごとに高温になるため、

金属製以外の道具を置くのはお控えください。

The most distinctive feature of the table's appearance is that 

a portion of the table is recessed to provide a fire pit.
The flat top panel somehow gives the impression of a table,
and can be used as a place for fire tools or to keep food warm.
※Please refrain from placing non-metal utensils on it, 

as the top panel gets hotter as time goes by.

火床が長方形の形状をしていることから、
大人数で賑やかに焚き火台を囲うというよりは、
独りで物思いにふけながら炎と向きあう、
少人数で炎を挟みながら語らうようなシーンが似合うデザインです。

The rectangular shape of the fire pit makes it suitable for a person 

or a small group of people to to enjoy the flames,
rather than for a large group of people to gather around the fire pit.

大自然の中に限らず、 自宅の庭やテラスのような「日常の自然」でもお使い頂けます。 

建物、家具や調度品と調和を取りながら、 

自然の移ろいを日々感じられる豊かな生活に寄り添う焚火台です。  

 

It can be used not only in the great outdoors, 

but also in “everyday nature” such as your garden or terrace. 

It is a fire pit that blends harmoniously with buildings, furniture, and furnishings, 

and accompanies a rich lifestyle where you can feel the transition of nature on a daily basis.

フレーム+平面天板+2種類の火床天板で焚火台が構成されています。
ひとつの大きな天板ではなく小さな天板の集合体にすることで、
収納性が向上し、また独自の機能が生まれました。
組み立てもフレームの脚を開き、天板をフレーム長辺の溝に差し込むだけで、
どなたでも素早く簡単に行えます。

The fire pit is composed of a frame + flat top + two types of fire pit tops.
The collection of small tops, rather than one large top, 

improves storage and creates a unique function.
The frame can be easily and speedy assembled by opening the legs 

and inserting the top into the grooves on the long sides of the frame.

それぞれの天板をフレームの溝に自由に嵌められるので、
焚き火のスタイルに合わせて火床レイアウトの変化が可能です。
例えば時間をかけて焚き火調理を楽しみたい場合は、
平面天板を片側に寄せると調理器具の置き場が広く使えます。
また、火床天板を追加することで大型の焚き火台として、
平面天板を追加することでメインテーブルやシェルフとして、
季節や天候などで焚き火をしない日でもお使い頂けます。
※ 火床天板「Table top B」は必ず「Table top C」の両脇に設置してください。

Since each top plate can be freely fitted into the grooves of the frame,
the layout of the fireplace can be changed to suit your style of cooking.
For example, if you want to spend more time cooking over the fire,
you can move the flat top to one side to provide more space for cooking utensils.
The fire pit can also be used as a large fire pit by adding a fire pit top,
or as a main table or shelf by adding a flat surface top.
※ Table top B must be placed on both sides of Table top C.

天板同士の隙間から燃焼のための適度な空気を取り込みつつ、
部分的に折れ加工を施すことで、

天板の強度を確保しながらも灰が地面に落ちづらい構造をデザインしています。
また火床天板Table top Cの両脇に設置するTable top Bは、
片側に施した長めの折れ加工が炭の落下を防ぎます。

While taking in moderate air for combustion through the gap between the top boards,
The table tops are partially folded to ensure strength

and to prevent ash from falling to the ground.
Table top B, which is placed on either side of Table top C,
has a long fold on one side to prevent charcoal from falling to the ground.

脚に設けた剛性を高めるためのロッドバーは、 

IFA Firepitを移動する時の持ち手としても機能します。

 煙の流れや天候の変化など、焚き火を始めた後に場所を移動したい時にお使いください。 

※ 安全のためグローブを着用し作業を行ってください。

※ 一人で持ち上げることが難しい場合は二人で行ってください。 

※ 薪・灰・炭の落下や飛散、焚き火の輻射熱に十分ご注意ください。

 

The rod bars on the legs for rigidity also serve as handles for moving the IFA Firepit. 

Use it when you need to move from one location to another after starting a fire, 

due to smoke flow, weather changes, etc. 

※Wear gloves for safety. 

※If it is difficult for one person to lift the fire extinguisher, two people should work together. 

※Be careful not to drop or scatter wood, ash, or charcoal, 

and to avoid heat radiation from the fire.

焚き火調理のための専用五徳 IFA Gotokuもデザインしました。

棒材を板材で挟んだシンプルな構造で、 IFA Firepitのデザインと調和します。

※焚火調理をしない方を考慮し、別売商品となります。こちらより別途ご購入ください。

フレームに沿ってスライドできるので、調理器具をのせたまま五徳の移動が可能です。 

火力調整をしたい時や、薪を追加で焼べる時にご活用ください。

五徳はそのまま平面天板に被せておけるので、使わない時でも置き場に困りません。

※スライド時の調理器具の落下等にご注意ください。

 

The trivet can be slid along the frame so that it can be moved with the cookware on it.

Use this function when adjusting the heat or when you need to add additional wood. 

The trivet can be placed on the flat top as it is, 

so there is no need to worry about where to put it when it is not in use. 

※Please be careful not to drop the cookware when sliding.

複数のIFA Gotokuを使うことで、同時に調理も行えます。 

両脇からも薪を焼べられるので、五徳を動かさずに火力調整も可能です。

 

By using multiple IFA Firepit, you can cook simultaneously.

Wood can be added from both sides of the IFA Firepit, 

so the heat can be adjusted without moving the trivets.

専用の収納バッグも合わせてデザインしました。

900Dポリエステルを採用し、様々な環境でタフにお使い頂けます。

※ 材質の特性上、火の粉で穴が開く等の恐れがあるのでご注意ください。

バッグはフレームバッグと天板バッグに分かれていて、バックルで連結が可能です。

バッグから焚火台を取り出し、組み立てる。使い終わった後に収納する。

ストレス無くスムーズに一連の動作を行えるようデザインされています。  

 

The bag is divided into the frame bag and the plates bag, which can be connected with a buckle. Take the fire pit out of the bag, assemble it, and store it when you are done using it.

The bag is designed for smooth and stress-free operation.

持ち手のベルトは手持ちでも肩掛けでもお使い頂け、 

女性でも簡単に持ち運ぶことができます。

 

The belt on the handle can be used either hand-held or slung over the shoulder,

making it easy even for women to carry.

バッグが二つに分けられることで、 例えばフレームバッグは車内に残し、

天板バッグのみを自宅に持ち帰り天板のメンテナンスを行うなども可能で、

また車載時の収納アレンジの幅も広がります。

 

By dividing the bag into two parts, it is possible, for example,  

to leave the frame bag in the car and take only the plates bag home for maintenance of the plates. This also allows for a wider range of storage arrangements when the bag is carried in the car.

灰捨てについて、

従来通り焚火台を直接灰捨て場まで持っていき捨てることも可能ですが、
サイトから灰捨て場までの距離によっては持ち歩きの移動が面倒だったり、
風向きによっては移動中の灰の飛散も考えられるので、
IFA Firepitはブラシ+メタルトレイ+火消し袋による灰処理を推奨しています。
火床天板を１、２枚外し、ブラシで灰をトレイに落とし、

火消し袋や火消し壺に灰をまとめて頂くとスムーズです。
袋や壺のサイズによっては、直接それらに灰を落として頂くことも可能です。
ブラシとトレイは100円ショップ等で買い揃えられるものでも十分ですので、
常備しておくことをオススメ致します。

 

For ash disposal, we recommend using a brush, metal tray, and fire extinguisher bag. 

It is easier to remove one or two firepit plates, drop the ashes into the tray with a brush, 

and collect the ashes in a fire extinguisher bag. 

Depending on the size of the extinguisher bag, 

it may be possible to drop the ashes directly into the extinguisher bag. 

Brushes and trays can be purchased at 100 yen stores, etc., 

and we recommend that you always have them on hand.

ソロ用のメインテーブルやフィールドラックに近いサイズ感で、 

焚火台の中ではかなり大きい部類です。 

重さも決して軽いとは言えないので、オートキャンプでの使用を想定しております。 

※ 火床から地面まで約190mm離れていますが、 

芝生サイトでお使いの際は芝生保護のため焚火シート併用を徹底してください。

 

It is similar in size to a main table or field rack for solo use and is one of the larger fire pits. 

It is also not light in weight, so it is intended for use in auto-camping. 

※The fire pit is about 190mm away from the ground,  

but if you are using it at a grass site, 

please make sure to use a fire sheet together to protect the grass.

SnowPeak社のフラットバーナーに代表されるIGTバーナー関連製品は、

焚き火との併用によりガス缶への引火等の重大な事故に繋がることを防ぐため、

あえて設置できないサイズに設計しています。

※厳密には天板上に「置く」ことができますが、くれぐれもご使用はお控えください。  

 

IGT burner-related products, such as SnowPeak's flat burners,  

are designed in a size that prevents them from being used in conjunction with a bonfire,  

which could lead to a serious accident such as igniting a gas can. 

※Strictly speaking, you can “place” them on the top panel, but please refrain from using them.

フレームと脚の可動部はリベットヒンジを採用しています。 

適度なトルク感があり、シンプルかつストレスのない開閉動作を実現しています。 

 

Rivet hinges are used for the moving parts of the frame and legs.  

The moderate torque feeling ensures simple and stress-free open/close operation. 

材質はSUS430を採用しています。
バイブレーション仕上げによる上品ながらも存在感を主張する質感が、
周囲の景色と程よく溶け合い、
光の差し込み方によってさまざまな表情を見せてくれます。
※ 錆づらい材質ですが、雨風に晒され続けると表面に錆が浮いてくることがあります。
鉄のような内部から発生する錆ではなくもらい錆がほとんどなため、
ステンレス金タワシ等で剥がせますが、
錆を気にされる方は撤収の際に、朝露などの水分をしっかり拭き取ることをオススメ致します。

 

The material used is SUS430. 

The vibratory finish gives it an elegant yet assertive texture that blends well with the surrounding scenery and shows various expressions depending on the way the light shines through. 

※Although the material is rust-resistant, rust may appear on the surface if it is continuously exposed to rain and wind. Since the rust does not come from the inside like iron, 

it can be easily removed with steel wool, etc.  

However, those who are concerned about rust should be careful when handling it.

写真はおよそ50時間ほど焚火を行ったIFA Firepitの様子です。
定期的なメンテナンスを施しながら使用していくと、
丁寧に使い込まれた古道具や工芸品のような独特な色や質感が現れ始めます。
メンテナンスは中性洗剤と天然素材のタワシで洗浄後、
すぐにタオルドライし余分な水分を拭き取ってください。
焦げが気になる方はステンレス金タワシである程度除去が可能です。
※スチールウールの使用はもらい錆の原因になるのでお控えください。
また、焚火台本体が非常に高温になるため、表面にコーティング等は施しておりません。
特に最初の火入れの際に汚れや手垢が付着しているとシミになりますので、
気になる方は手袋を着用し作業を行ってください。

 

With regular maintenance and use, 

the unique color and texture of the product will begin to emerge,  

as if it were an old tool or craft that has been carefully used. 

For maintenance, we recommend washing with neutral detergent and a scrubber,  

then towel dry immediately and wipe off any excess water. 

If you want to remove burn marks, a metal scrubber is effective. 

The surface of the fire pit is not coated because of its extremely high temperature. 

If dirt or hand stains adhere to the surface, especially when first lighting the fire, 

they will stain the surface.
